Director of Public Utilities
Chris Kenyon has been with the Department of Public Utilities for 36 years. Chris started as a wastewater treatment operator in 1979 and was appointed as director in January 1997. He holds a B, L1, A-1g, C-1c distribution water certification; a D1 limited treatment certification and an S1 distribution water certification. Chris oversees the operation of a four million gallon a day wastewater treatment facility, and a five million gallon a day water system supply.

Chris is the National Director for the Michigan Rural Water Association and Chairman of the American Water Works Association, Small System Committee.
